The Space Commander™ Over Bonnet storage unit is the perfect solution for the storage problem in apartment buildings.
By using the wasted space that sits over the bonnet of your car you can create up to 3.2 cubic metres of storage space in your basement car space or garage, without losing valuable parking space.
The Apartment Storage Problem Solved!
The Space Commander™ product is a purpose-built, fully engineered design. It is not a box on legs, rather an integrated structure whereby every component is designed and positioned to maximize strength, rigidity, ease of installation and longevity. The legs, for example, rise from the oor to the very top of the storage unit.
Steel is the material of choice – strong, robust and reliable. You can achieve maximum strength without requiring the “bulk” that say plastic or wood requires.
Over Bonnet Features
Heavy Duty supporting legs and beams keeps unit ridged.
Space Commander has single door hinged at the top (not sides) so doesn’t swing out and hit the car in adjacent car space and the door can be opened without moving the car.
There are no middle pillar/beams so you can store long items like surfboards or golf clubs.
We find that most 4WD vehicles fit well within the max 1300mm clearance under units with extensions.
All units are individually keyed.

Space Commander installed over 30 units in my development.
